Ice conditions in the Gulf of Finland are different between years. To ensure country’s ports and harbours are open to navigation all year round, thus opening the merchant trade, merchant vessels need to be escorted to and from the ports during winter time. Other services to organize the vessel traffic as directed by country’s governing authority are also performed by our icebreaker Botnica.

During winter icebreaking season vessel is performing under an agreement with Estonian Maritime Adminstration.

We serve the Muuga Harbour, harbours of Tallinn and Kopli Bay, Paldiski North, Paldiski South, Kunda and Sillamäe Harbours.

During summer months vessel is available for icebreaking management, general marine support and offshore support in the seas of Arctic.
